This song was written in a tiny cabin at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. I made a fun little music video to go along with it, which I shot at my friend's place on Shallow Bay, Lake Laberge, Yukon. Check it out on YouTube.

I’ve got a hot pot boiling on the stove for when you come by.
I’ve got some tiny little lights that I put all around,
I’m setting the mood for when you come on down.
You won’t catch us playing cards or scrabble tonight.


I’m going to shovel the trail all the way up to my cabin.
I’m going to chop all the wood, it’ll make me feel good and spry.
